You should go there, really.

Planned features

The game is to feature playable leagues in almost every football-playing nation in the world. That's over two hundred countries. The plan is also to have each league playable as far down the pyramid as possible, allowing for a vast range of playable teams, and challenges to meet. Each national job is also fully playable, so finally bring the World Cup to the Netherlands, or take the Faroe Islands into their first European Championships.

Each league will be as close as possible to it's real life counterpart. Hence, the Brazilian National Third Division will require qualification each season to participate in it, the American Major League will involve a final playoff between the best eight teams, and the SPL will be shit.

You won't be restricted to managerial roles either. For those with a keen business sense, the Chairman job is up for grabs, allowing you to oversee every aspect of the club, from developing a stadium and making sponsorship deals, to hiring and firing managers. Of course, if you like, you can take a hands on role of the club too, becoming manager in the process. The Director of Football takes on the running of the footballing aspect of the club, using his experience and knowhow to do what the chairman can't. Various assistant manager and coaching positions can be taken, often giving you the task of managing the reserve and youth squads at the club, while implementing full training routines. Scouts must scour their assigned leagues and countries for new talent and suss out opponents' frailties.

It'll hopefully go even further than this with two more jobs available. As a young player, you must train hard, accept the instructions your manager gives you and do everything you can to help your team. Or failing that, aim for the top and the coveted World Footballer of the Year award, winning every trophy along the route. Finally, undertake a referee's course, and be the bastard in the black. You run the game with your iron fist, and your whistle, and suffer the consequences when you find out you can't please anyone.

Unfortunately, those last two are entirely subject to the creation of a working, highly playable match engine. Such graphical design isn't my strong point. Just look at this website for a perfect example.

As each feature is designed, further information, screenshots and in some cases demos will appear here.

Bet you think I'm a liar, don't you? Well, I don't care.
