Site of the month: Digiworld.
You should go there, really.

What is it?

It's a game. It involves football. It's not yet but hopefully will be complete. "The" means "definite article", so take what you want from that. Oh, and expect it to cover every aspect of football today. Or at least most of it. Even refereeing.

Who's involved?

It depends on how you look at it. From a coding and design point of view I'm the only one involved in the project, but already there are a number of people who have kindly volunteered to research various leagues, many people have given support to the project (and an equal amount have poo-pooed it claiming it to be impossible, but ah well), and there are a few individuals and groups who don't even know they're helping.

People like many chaps who contribute to the RSSSF, without whom I wouldn't have half the information on the leagues I currently have. Pay them a visit, and give them a big kiss from me. Maybe I'll let them know some time what I'm up to.

Can I help?

You most certainly can. Research, ideas, general questions and feedback are always welcome. Email me at any time and contribute your bit to the project if you fancy it. It's my aim to create a game everyone, not just me (although rest assured as a big football fan I really do want a damn good game), will enjoy. Yes, even the drunk ones.

Check out the research pages. There's nothing there, I know. But check them out, they're lonely.

When will we see it?

Well, hopefully eventually. Bear in mind I've spent the last few months in a coma (also known as dreary work placement) and I've got my final university year coming up. When I've got something worth looking at, it'll be here available for download, so I'll keep you posted.

Expect the first full release to only feature management though, I'm having difficulty making Roberto Carlos' chubby legs move properly. And don't forget to eat.
