Marc and Beck in Mexico

Marc and I were planning to go to Thailand over Winter Break, but a dramatic increase in plane ticket price caused us to re-evaluate our idea. (Good thing too, since we would have been there during the massive tsunami that killed over 7,000 people.) Instead, we bought cheap tickets to San Diego several days before school ended, and changed our destination to Mexico.

I checked out several guide books at the Bellingham Public library before leaving, including "Let's Go: Guide to Mexico", the Lonely Planet's Mexico's Pacific Coast, and Carl Franz's "The People's Guide to Mexico."
