Memory tip In the treble clef: The names of the notes on the spaces are F A C E. The names of the notes on the lines are E G B D F, as in: Eat Good Breakfast Dear Father. In the bass clef: Starting on the space below the bottom line, the names of the notes are F A C E. The names of the notes on the lines are G B D F A, as in: Good Boys Do Fine Always.
