Fan Fiction Well, this is the fiction I've actually stuck with long enough to complete. I've got soooo many other projects that are only partly done it's pathetic. Heck, both of these fics were intended as pieces of longer arcs. Will those arcs happen? Who knows. Jaded Dragon: Hatchling -- An Escaflowne fic, set waaaaay before the series. It's a sweet, pointless little snippet out of Time, King Goau spending a little quality time with wife Varie and a two-month old Folken. This Time Around -- A Trigun Fic, set after the anime ends. Meryl gets caught in a tight bind, and ends up with a somewhat surreal experience which degenerates into a whole LOT of sap. Spoiler warning for the end of the anime. Much very obvious Meryl x Vash, but nothing over a PG-13 rating. It's also my only fic that's been translated into another language. Yup, it's in Italian! Original Fiction Back in my junior year in college, I took Creative Writing 410, and these two stories are the result. I don't generally write original fiction, since I can never come up with enough of an idea plot-wise to warrant one, and then never having the oomph to finish what I do start, but class deadlines made these two stories possible. I was going through a rather difficult time emotionally, so both of these fics are going to be angsty and quite surreal. Broken Mirror -- first-person POV, behind the eyes ofa lady who is supposed to be "Matilda" but isn't. She very desperately wants to return home. But just where is home? Does it even exist? Implied death, rampant confusion, MPD. Butterfly Dreams -- again first-person fic. How do we know what's Real and what's Dream? A shy college girl starts getting dragged out of her shell by a cute guy, but Fate can't help but mess with things. More rampant confusion and implied death, though no insanity. |
