The Specialist's Story
After the big showdown with MakubeX in Mugenjou, Clayman stops in at the Honky Tonk and commissions GB to recover the "Lost Arms of the Venus De Milo". Not only GB, but Shido and Emishi also take on the job, infiltrating the cruise-liner carrying the "target". Akabane makes an appearance, of course on the opposing side. And, one by one, Ginji, Shido, Emishi and Akabane all come across a mysterious, quiet young blonde girl carrying a doll of the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland. She never says much, except "here", giving all four a small, wrapped piece of candy.

The little girl never gets a name. She is always called Hakase, Japanese for 'specialist', usually with connotations of 'scientist'. Though she looks no older than 9 or 10, she is incredibly intelligent, and is apparently higher ranking than a lot of pretty high-placed people. She also obviously knows a whole freakin' lot about Mugenjou, the people in it, and the people behind it. To use Ginji's favorite "puzzle" metaphor, the Specialist is definitely someone who knows what the final picture should look like.

Her motives, alliances and ultimate objectives are, like everything about her, total mysteries.

While I'm sure many of you instantly suspect the Specialist of being a member of the Brain Trust, she is not. However, she most certainly knows them personally, and it's hinted that she's a former member.
