Multi-Series Authors

These are the writers who have stuff I like in more than one series. I won't list exactly which stories were the ones I love, 'cuz that'd just get entirely too long in some cases. Just read everything they have, it's worth it. So, in no particular order:

- Sionna Klassen -

Gundam Wing   Yoroiden Samurai Troopers   X   Final Fantasy VII   Sailor Moon   Yuu Yuu Hakusho   Transformers   Twin Signal   Rurouni Kenshin   Mega Man   Escaflowne   Quasar   Revolutionary Girl Utena   Magic Knight Rayearth   Gatchaman   Super Robot Wars   Xenogears   Raideen

EXCELLENT stuff.   Not only is it really good stuff, it's really well written stuff.   It goes through loads of genres too, from fluffy to suspenseful to very poignant.   Then there are the durn silly crossovers.   ^.^   I really can't say what my favorite story of hers is, but "Sentai Syndrome" has to be waaaaay up there in the category of hilarious fics.

- Madam Hydra -

Gundam Wing   Final Fantasy VII and IX   Rurouni Kenshin   Ranma ½   Weiss Kreuz   Sai Yuu Ki   Tokyo Babylon/X

Warning: dark, yaoi, dark, violence, dark, oh, and yes, some of it is DARK

Good Lord can the Madam write some intense stuff.   Only one author I can think of tops her in characterizations, and the plots she comes up with are flawlessly put together.   If you're looking for some real suspenseful and TWISTED fics, this is the place to go.   If you don't want the dark stuff, she's still got some fairly great lighter fics.   "Maxwell's Demon" is a must read, and she's got one of the most excellent Rurouni Kenshin fics I've ever read.

- White Cat -

Digimon 02   Yuu Yuu Hakusho   Fushigi Yuugi   Trigun   Inu Yasha   Pokemon   Weiss Kreuz   Gundam Wing   Hameln the Violinist   Lost Universe   Sakon   Gravitation   Flames of Rekka   Escaflowne   Mermaid Scar   Slayers Next   Yami no Matsuei   PetShop of Horrors… er, and some novels stuff, like CS Friedman (Coldfire Trilogy)   Neil Gaiman (Sandman)  and, of course, Harry Potter

Warning: YAOI, YAOI and more YAOI

::whew:: did I get them all…? I think so.   She's also got song lyric translations for a slew of series, poetry, and Japanese vocabulary.   Talk about prolific!   And she's GOOD.   No way I've read even a fourth of the stuff on her site, but the Trigun and FY stuff is great, so stands to reason that the rest of it would be worth it.

Final Fantasy IV, VI, VII, VIII   Final Fantasy Tactics

Warning: Fluff,  sap,  WAFF and rampant mushiness

There is more wonderful fluff and sappiness here than many other places.   I've caught myself with silly, wistful smiles on my faces while reading her fics so many times it's almost embarrassing.   Without a doubt my absolute favorite of hers is "Bookworms and …Booya!" (FFVIII), an utterly adorable set of unabridged sweetness between Zell and Sally Regal, the library girl who gets maybe two scenes in the entire game.   Everything else there is worth reading too.   Go, now! :)

Final Fantasy VIII   Vagrant Story   Gundam Wing   The Mummy Returns
Star Wars Episode 1    Dragonsinger   Harry Potter   Original

Warning: YAO~~~~~~~I!!!

There is some pretty daggum good, solid writing here.  Sometimes introspective, sometimes sappy and just about always at least shonen ai, so if you're not the type, don't go read.   Be especially aware of the FF8 fics, since the most common pairing is Squall and Laguna.   The VS stories are a little more subtle shonen ai between Ashley and Sydney, but they're wonderfully introspective and I think pretty close to game character.

Sorcerer Hunters   Final Fantasy IV, VI, VII, VIII, XI, X   Harry Potter   Weiss Kreuz   Vagrant Story   Xenogears   Yoroiden Samurai Troopers   Yuu Yuu Hakusho   Devil May Cry   Star Wars Episode 1   Legend of Arslan   Escaflowne   Fushigi Yuugi   Lord of the Rings   Sailor Moon   Suikoden   Trigun

Warning: Yaoi, yaoi, more yaoi, oh, and some yaoi too.

Yes, I know they're two people, but their writing is in co-operation and it's just too difficult to figure out just who wrote what, so I"m putting them together.   Their writing is some of the best yaoi stuff out there.   They've got the top fics I've read in both the FF8, Trigun and Vagrant Story timelines, and the rest of their stuff is nothing to sneeze at.    If you're a yaoi fan of any of those series, their works are must-reads.

-Natallie Baan-

X   Card Captor Sakura   Tokyo Babylon   CLAMP Campus Detectives   CLOVER Escaflowne   Please Save My Earth   Gundam Wing   Fushigi Yuugi   Spirited Away   Weiss Kreuz

Wahoo!   Non-yaoi author #2 (#1 being Mintbaby)!   Ms. Baan's work is quiet and introspective, with little to no violence or heavy action.   I think the best way to describe her work is elegant.   Don’t ask me what it is, but there’s something in her writing that’s refined and flowing.   The most of her works are one-acts on the shorter side, and she tends towards CLAMP related works, but don’t skip anything on her page.   While there may not be much in the way of hard-core action to keep your eyes glued to the page, the quiet power of her character-centered work is plenty riveting.

-Katsu-
www.katsudon.net

Gundam Wing   Lord of the Rings   The Witch-King of Angmar   Equilibrium   Harry Potter   Rurouni Kenshin   Trigun   Fushigi Yuugi   Pirates of the Carribean   Artemis Fowl

Warnings: shounen-ai,  alternate universe,  gore-factor

Katsu has to write one of the best Duos in GW fandom; witty, clever and sarcastic as all hell.   Acheronita Atropos and its sequel Pyractomena Borealis are probably her two more famous works, set in an AU timeline with Duo and crew fighting not only OZ but vampires as well.   Her writing style is solid, and her plots are always amusing.   She does both angst and humor, and sometimes a weird combo of both, so even if you aren’t a fan of one or the other, there’s still plenty of stuff worth looking at.
