Energetic monkey. Born from a boulder drenched with the aura of Mother Earth, he is an Unorthodox Child. The larger part of his brainpower taken up by thoughts on food and fun, he doesn't have much to spare for deep thoughts about Reality. Because of his spacy personality, he's the "mascot character" of the four. Day after day he gets messed with by Gojyo, gets pounded on by Sanzou, and is watched over by Hakkai. At an apparent 18 years of age, he's in excellent health.
500 years ago, Goku committed some unknown crime and, as a penalty, was sealed within a time-stasis pocket in a remote mountain cave. His weapon of choice is his Nyoibo, which is also capable of separating into a three-section staff.
